The Club is called "The Royal Marines Officers’ Dinner Club" (RMODC). Its purpose is to host an annual dinner for serving and retired RM officers.

Qualification for Membership
All serving and retired Royal Marines (including Royal Marines Reserve) are eligible for membership. However, the Committee have the right to refuse membership at any time.
Officers who have been or may be dismissed from the Service as a consequence of Court Martial or who have retired in order to avoid Court Martial, shall not be eligible to join the club unless such an officer is reinstated in the Corps.
Officers Annual Dinner
A dinner will be held annually in London on a date to be fixed by the Committee. Time, date, place and cost will be notified to members by the Secretary in the annual newsletter, on the Club website and by advertisement in the "Globe & Laurel".

The Chairman will preside at the annual dinner or, if unavailable, will invite a member to preside on his behalf. In the absence of a chaplain, the Committee will invite a member to say grace. There will be no formal speeches.
The dress for dinner will be dinner jackets or equivalent for ladies, negative medals and decorations.
